In all the years we've been telling stories at NowHere Media, we've explored various funding strategies, but we've never before engaged directly
with our community in this process.

We're finally launching our first crowdfunding campaign with the Artizen Fund. By purchasing our “artifact”— think of it as an NFT but in an unlimited edition – you can help us unlock the funding needed to build a prototype. In this third season of the Artizen Fund, independent creators fund their projects with community support.

We look forward to seeing what this journey will bring us in the next three months!

COMING SOON: Living with the Snow Leopards (working title) is a mixed reality documentary that explores the complex relationship between the human inhabitants of the Himalayas and the endangered snow leopards. 

The high-altitude mountains of the Indian Himalayas in Ladakh harbour one of the most elusive big cats, the snow leopard. However, their existence
is threatened by a multitude of factors, including retaliatory killing, climate change, habitat loss, and fragmentation. These factors have led to a decline
in the snow leopards' prey, such as blue sheep, ibex, and Tibetan snow cocks, and the predators resort to attacking livestock, which then triggers herders and farmers to hunt them, further harming the wildcat population. This cycle creates a human-animal conflict, setting the threatened apex species against the inhabitants of the mountain lands.

To address this issue, Living with the Snow Leopards (WT), our upcoming mixed reality documentary, aims to explore this complex relationship
and potential solutions.

Due to the variable nature of gas prices, a minimum donation of $75 is required. Opting for a credit card donation instead of using a crypto wallet
means you won't receive an artifact. Nonetheless, you can still actively participate in our crowdfunding campaign.

Crypto Wallet Donations

Each project owner can offer a single NFT artifact for sale at 0.01 ETH (approximately US$15 at the time of drafting this email).

Selling artifacts unlocks match funding, directly proportional to the number of NFTs sold. Since this is our first attempt at creating and selling
an NFT, we don't claim to be crypto experts entering this campaign. We are approaching this with a beginner's mindset, viewing it as an opportunity
to crowdfund our project and explore new co-creation possibilities.

If you'd like to support our project but have no previous experience with blockchain, here's a quick step-by-step guide on how to buy artifacts.

Now, you can purchase our artifact! Choose the number of artifacts you wish to buy and make your purchase before the campaign ends in early January. After your purchase is completed, you will receive a thank-you email with details about our complimentary rewards to show our appreciation for your support.
